51. The What-Not Inn

The What-Not-Inn, circa 1930, had something for everybody.

Area’s best-known venue for live jazz, blues, soul and funk music — and food and drink. The original gas station/tavern/restaurant/grocery store had many owners over the years but it was jazz musician Barb Sieb who created the club-like atmosphere that encouraged a mixing of straight and gay people in the best Saugatuck area tradition.
