Riverside Cemetery Comes Alive made history!
Enjoy some of the photos from our October 24, 2025 program at Riverside Cemetery. The first year of the event was a success with over two hundred attending. Thank you to our incredible volunteer interpreters and to Saugatuck Township.
This family-friendly event featured a guided historical tour of Riverside Cemetery, accompanied by living history presentations along the way, sharing the lives of notable Saugatuck/Douglas historical figures, including Carl and Christina Hoerman, William Butler, the Morrison family, and more. Enjoy cider and donuts in the cemetery’s Caretaker’s Cottage.
