In August, the History Center welcomed the new Saugatuck Middle-High School Principal, Brad Lundvick, and students Lily Lokker and Frankie Bullinger to teach him about growing up in Saugatuck and the history of the area!
The students provided great information for their new principal, describing early memories of Root Camp at the History Center and their experience learning about Saugatuck-Douglas historical landmarks such as the Big Pavilion and the ghost town of Singapore during their elementary school days.
It was great to uncover some archives from our collection of Saugatuck High School memorabilia and even find an archive from Lily’s long family history in the area.
