Heritage Preservation Awards

This annual award program recognized over two hundred homeowners and builders for projects that respected the town’s scale and character. The Heritage Preservation Group worked to document “what is good about the old”, demonstrate good preservation and construction practices, and make history part of community life and the local economy. This eventually led to the publication of a free guide to “Building the New and Rehabilitating the Old.”
