Thompson of Allegan Michigan on September 30, 1915 explaining that she had discharged her duties as executor (executrix!) of the Hattie P. Mills estate and was not involved in the estate of Hanna P. Mills. The letter is handwritten in ink on beige letterhead. Also the Executrix check book from the Fruit Growers State Bank with 10 stubs showing estate expenses paid out from June 17, 1915 to Aug. 11, 1915 The mostly unused checkbook has a black card cover embossed with an alligator texture and bookbinding tape with linen insert. The green-paper checks are stapled into the cover. The checks were printed by J.W. Cockrum Ptg. Co., Oakland City, Indiana Checks were written to: James Klom $27 Parens wages "Self" for expenses S.C.
