Travel program designed to appeal to recreational boaters.
Segment 1: Host Len Kluge interviews the captain of the Ary Lou, Lawrence "Larry" Hattinga, about perch fishing and boating conditions, especially hazards like erosion-stopping "whalers," rocks along the coast and boaters misinterpreting the lights on the channel piers.
Segment 2: A "Port of the Day" history of Saugatuck, Douglas and Singapore from information compiled by Kit Lane, Chuck Lorenz and the Allegan Historical Society.
Segment 3: "Old Salt" Dave Durkee demonstrates how to cook a sailor's dish called "Bo-Bo-Gie."
Segment 4: Port reporter Cindy Goggins video tour of Saugatuck-Douglas' attractions with mentions of one of two original soda fountains remaining in Michigan at Saugatuck Drug, how S-D is a B&B capital with no franchises on the quaint streets, West Wind Campground, Fenn Valley, Joyce Petter gallery, Blue Star Playland, Queen of Saugatuck, Keewatin, Harbor Village, City of Douglas boat cruises, Auction House restaurant, Embassy, Clearbrook, Coral Gables, the new Toulouse restaurant, and Marros pizza.
After a video scroll of events, the Marina Report mentioned Casa Loma, Saugatuck Yacht Services, the Landings, Deep Harbor Marina and Tower Marine.
