Small, single-stapled booklet with green/brown embossed cover and 32-pages. Many pages of advertisements, b/w photos and a multiple-page text extolling the area's virtues. The text describes what the visitor will see if they arrive by ship -- Mt. Baldhead, the "new cut", the Singapore site (including description of residents moving to upper floors to escape the sand), the ferry, claims about J. Fenimore Cooper's inspiration for "Oak Openings," Forward Movement Park, hunting, fishing, and travel by steamship or the Interurban electric train.

Stow The many features which make Saugatuck and vicinity one of the most beautiful resorts cannot he described by words, nor can photographs show things as they really are, but with a few words and pictures we will endeavor to describe what we consider the most beautiful spot along the east shore of 10-11; Sand hill swing, Lincoln Road (Perryman) 12-13; at the mouths of the Kalamazoo river, for there are now two entrances to Saugatuck Harbor, the new entrance or Tourism booklet, circa 1906 picture number 9 14-15; winter scene, 16-17; He finds that the principal part of Saugatuck lies on a point formed by Kalamazoo lake and river and has water on the north, west and south sides of it, so that nearly every house in the village is within two or three blocks of the water, so many of its people have rowboats, sailboats, yachts or launches, and all have access to the boat liveries. The streets of the town are broad and shady, but the greater number of trees are to be found west of the river, and to get there one must use a boat, so down to the ferry he goes and with a «Ho Ye, Ho Ho! 18-19; views of Lake Michigan and Kalamazoo River (possibly Park St.) 20-21; One can trace the windings of the Kalamazoo river from its mouth around its many curves to Saugatuck and the Kalamazoo lake, where he can see the yachts making their regular trips around it, stopping at Saugatuck, Douglas and various landings on its shore, and then see the lake as it becomes narrower and follow with his eye the silvery stream eastward until it fades from sight. Besides these natural beauties the cultivated orchards loaded with fruit, heavily laden vineyards and green fields are a beautiful sight spread out beyond the villages. Many are the spots along the Kalamazoo that are rich with Indian leg-ends, and the red men themselves have not all departed. The name of the river comes from 22-23; Vesta Putnam summer school and beach scene at Forward Movement Park 24-25; come via Chicago and South Haven line to South Haven and then up on the Str. Aliber. The Graham & Morton boats bring passengers from Chicago to Holland, from which place it is only a few minutes ride on the trolley car, and those who prefer to come by rail trom Chicago come via. Holland and the trolley line. This is the terminus of the Grand Rapids, Holland & Chicago electric line, which runs cars hourly between here and Grand Rapids during the summer, months.
