Louis Ritman article picture number 2 https://www.flickr.com/photos/94921703@N00/3371775695; Willow Bend Farm - Scene From 1970's - Glenn, Michigan This used to be a beautiful tourist destination that also has a large barn and related outbuildings that were, in the 1960's, cleaned (very little alteration done on the inside) and used as a gift shop. The set up would accommodate shoppers and curiosity seekers and offer a place for weary road travelers to rest. They specialized in imports from Japan and also had a large variety of other items such as a plethora of hand blown and colorful Mexican glass items of which were displayed in the many lovely windows. It eventually sold off to an antique dealer. Now there is a slew of rusted, wire garden art spread on the front yard along with various other junk items. It quickly lost its original, magical charm. According to the article, Ritman, a professor of art the Art Institute of Chicago, spent more than 30 years painting and living at this brother George's "Willow Bend Farm" just north of Glenn.
