Leg, folding seat
Object/Artifact
Cast iron, possibly back and foot portion from a folding seat or bench. The upper portion has four places to attach a back board. The feet have double holes for screwing to a floor or a deck. The portion that would have supported the fold-down, fold up seat is missing. The iron has the letters "S" and "A" integrated into the casting and raised letters indicate the part was patented in Nov. 1868 or 1865.
