A white gill-net tug is moored by a shanty with three net-drying reels Next to the left is the blue-roofed Sewers barn and another weathered wood shanty with white-flagged net buoys. The painting has a silver frame and beige mat. Painting signed in lower right corner.

Louise Crawford 1908 – 1971 Sewers Docks Saugatuck, Michigan c.1940 | oil on canvas Notes: Louise was the daughter of Captain Andrew Crawford, owner of the Crawford Transportation Co. which ran passenger boats between Chicago and Saugatuck, 1909 to 1913. She worked as a commercial artist for the Douglas Aircraft Co. and was a charter member of the Saugatuck Art Association.
