Two binders full of type-written notes about literature. Binder one is book-lovers notes with lists of "great books," critic- recommended and top books from the 1940s to 1950s. Sections include books once banned, travel destinations, architecture, gardening, physiology, religion, crafts, ceramics, decoration, race relations, public affairs, art history, humor and more. The book are a deep dive into what sorts of books were considered worthwhile at mid century.
