Joshua Weed House/Fernwood/Horist Manor by Weed's Creek

This seven-acre site and circa 1845 house was once an inn run by George E. Weed in the 1910s. It is located at 2488 Lakeshore Dr. in Fennville. This property has gone by other names including Fernwood Resort and Horist Manor by Weed's Creek. Property records indicate the building was purchased by the John F. Gilmore Company/Gilmore Scott Trust in 2013. The building underwent a signifiant and thoughtful restoration after the purchase.
