Yager Tank Cartoon
Work on Paper
Ink drawing with watercolor by Rick Yager behind glass with .25-inch gold-tone metal frame and 2.5-inch beige mat.
The image is of a line of giant mousetraps set on a desert plain. One mousetrap has caught a military tank. Text along the top of the image reads "The idea is to out-smart that rat, Saddam, with a secret weapon he'd never expect!" and, along the bottom, "Good luck to all men of the fighting forces! ??? Y???"
"To the greatest, Hank Latas from Rick" is written in pencil on the lower right corner of the cartoon..
A photocopy of a 1991 Holland Sentinel newspaper article about Rick Yager is pasted to the back along with a label from the framer.
