Seven canisters of 35mm black-and-white negatives from 1947-1952.
Images of a house, barn, outbuildings, grain elevator, pumping windmill, orchard and garden, family gatherings, people in a motor boat, puppies, cars, the Big Pavilion, Mt. Baldhead Hotel, yachts on the Kalamazoo, a late snowfall and also non-local shots from vacations, a boxing match, and a wedding.
The often-photographed house had a sign that says "Posegay SO" or "Posegay 60"
Tucked inside roll B is a note: "Crowes Card Club, Saugatuck fall 1949; Xmas at Irma's 1949; Saugatuck May 1950; Saug. Aug. Sept. 1952"
Inside roll D: "1952 Mich. Gardy at Boy Scout Camp, Cylke Etc.
Inside roll E: "Crowes Card Club 1953? at Saug"
The notes have been mixed up and do not correspond to the images on the negatives in their respective canisters.
