Two photocopies of newspaper clippings that were mailed to the SDHS in 2019 by David Doss. Both clippings are accounts of tragedies or crimes that happened in Saugatuck as reported by non-local newspapers.
1. Daily Mining Journal 08/03/1923: "Chicago Man Asks for Examination"
2. Detroit Evening News 08/31/1889: "R.F. Kluman, a Saugatuck saloonkeeper, shot Ed. Wort in the face and neck..."
