Confusion about ownership of a strip of land between Park Street and the river, at the west-shore Chain landing. Hoffman purchased the property around 1951 from Camp Gray, that owned all of "Government pat No. 2" except the portion called the Park Addition. The 1935 agreement to vacate part of Lincoln Road to the Camp Gray in exchange for Oval Beach is also mentioned.
