Slate with Drawing
Object/Artifact
Piece of thin, slate stone with a painted sketch of the "Old Pump House" 1800s on wide side. The painting includes the text "Saugatuck Mich." at the top and "8.17-4" and "Peggy Leivic"[?] along the bottom.

The slate shingle was from the roof of the Saugatuck Pump House. In 1974, the building was renovated by Dr. Shorey for reuse as a cottage.
