Mt. Baldhead view 1895

Saugatuck flats as seen from Mt. Baldhead. The riverbank is hidden by a row of stern-to-bow docked boats and ship. Two liberty poles are visible as is the swing bridge crossing the river. There are completed sidewalks on both sides of Butler St.

According to Jack Sheridan, this image may be the one reported in the April 19, 1895 Commercial Record as taken by Miller Robinson for an early tourist guide. The photo does not match the view printed in "Beauties of Saugatuck and Douglas, Michigan 1898" See 2006.01.01
