Obit reads:
DOUGLAS—Miss Cornelia M. Koning, 87, of 526 Butler St., Saugatuck, died late Thursday in Community Hospital following a week’s illness.
Born in Saugatuck, she lived there all of her life and was a 1908 graduate of Saugatuck High School. She attended McLaughlin Business School in Grand Rapids. For many years, she worked at the big pavilion in Saugatuck. She was a member of First Congregational Church of Saugatuck, a member of the Women’s Fellowship and served as organist there for many years.
Surviving are a niece, Miss Eleanor Koning of Saugatuck; a nephew, Erwin T. Koning of Grosse Pointe and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ira (Olive) Koning of Saugatuck.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Dykstra Saugatuck Chapel with the Rev. Roger Melson officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery, Holland.
There will be no visitation at the family's request.
