From the exhibit introduction panel "Walls Talking, Stories Our Houses Tell: This exhibition is about many different houses of the Saugatuck and Douglas area ... lived in by a diversity of individuals and families over time ... but each is full of clues about human life in our villages past and present." The center of the gallery a freestanding structure, in the form of a house with three rooms, displaying artifacts of everyday life from the homes of Goldie Kleinheksel, Sylvia Randolph and John Warner Norton's Ox-Bow cottage.
