Scope and ContentDocuments, plans, blueprints and photos pertaining to the development and improvements of the old Saugatuck Pump House for use as history museum. This collection was compiled over the years by the many volunteers who made it happen. The first document is from 1988 and titled "Museum Start-up Requirements." The documents track efforts by SDHS volunteers to win the lease for the property, letters of support or objection by neighbors, fundraising, interior renovations, the addition of a garden, walkway, learning stations and patio.
