There is a pretty town I know, Where Kalamazoo's bright waters flow, Where rest and peace await each one, Who from the city's crowd may run. Chorus: Oh Saugatuck, Dear Saugatuck, Amongst the woodland hills, I love to climb Baldhead so high, It's beauty charms and thrills, The sky to me then seems so near, The village quaint and true, In Saugatuck I love to be, Yes, on the Kalamazoo. The Red Man here gave his Boo-shoo, Right here he paddled his canoe, Where now we're fishing, swimming too, So merrily on the Kalamazoo.
