Documentation of the artists who were in town in the 1930s and the townspeople who supported the arts. The Saugatuck Art Association sought to support the arts during the Depression. The exhibitions were originally at the Saugatuck Art Gallery in the Saugatuck Village Hall and later at the AK Studio. Although this ledger came to the SDHC archive from the Saugatuck-Douglas Art Club, the book is not associated with the Art Club, an organization that was founded in 1953.
