Scope and Content20" x 14.5" fire map blueprint of the grounds and buildings located on the property of the E.E. Weed Fruit Package/Basket Factory in Douglas, Michigan. The Fruit Basket Factory was built in the 1870's, and burned in 1927. The flames could be seen for thirty miles. Map is framed in clear sandwich frame. Item likely donated on March 14, 1995 by P.G. Walter of Douglas with accession # 95-8-1 as documented by William Kemperman. Item 95-48-1 is photocopy of the map the reflects the map's previous catalog number.
