Old Harbor Pier Head Light 1876-c1892
Photograph
Silhouettes of figurines on the catwalk to a navigational light on the end of a pier. This light was located at the old harbor.
This image was featured as the 3-23-2006 History Mystery #96 with the solution: This was the south pier head light from 1876 - 1892. When it was rammed by the steamer Charles McVea [in 1892], the tower was damaged and the Fresnel lens moved back to the top of the 1859 lighthouse.
