Annotated photo as used in the Douglas Root Beer Barrel interpetive sign The auction handbill above was published in 1964 to liquidate the holdings of the Harbor Club.; This included the large Harbor Hotel building in Douglas near the corner of Ferry and Center Streets which was later used by the River Queen Boatworks for the manufacture of house boats, the Kalamazoo Lake frontage that later became Tower Marine, and the Terrace Park View Resort which has since been razed and replaced with the Tower Harbor condominium development.
