Oval Beach pass 1980
Object/Artifact
Orange label with thin coating of glue on the face so the pass could be adhered to the inside of a car's window and allow free entry to Saugatuck's Oval Beach throughout the 1980 season. Unused. Pass number 246 is marked "void if not attached to window" (to ensure that each car has its own pass, no sharing) and printed with black ink on tissue-like orange paper. The color would have been different every year to make it easier for beach attendants to ascertain a car's status.
