About the Event

On Thursday, April 16th guests will explore Douglas House at 41 Spring Street in Douglas. Built in 1904 by Douglas shop owner L.W. McDonald, later it was home to Carl Wicks, World War II veteran and Great Lakes seaman. From 1967 until 1995 it was the home of the noted newspaper husband and wife team (and History Center founding members) Art and Kit Lane.
