You’re invited to join the party! By popular demand, the History Center “Dine Around” is back! This tradition began in 2010 as “an evening of tasty fun and palatable fundraising that delights and nourishes all who attend.” This month two longtime SDHC supporters are welcoming you into their homes for a special evening of dinner, drinks, and conversation, with all proceeds directly supporting your History Center! Limited seating is available for these intimate and unique dining experiences. Tickets will be sold on a first-come basis. Please contact Eric Gollannek at [email protected] with any questions.

Saturday, September 23 starting at 6 PM on Spring Street, Douglas
We’re delighted that SDHC Lifetime member Larry Gammons is hosting a party this month! The party begins with an open bar in the garden and passed appetizers, then dinner in the main dining room featuring beef tenderloin with shrimp and broccoli. Coffee and drinks to end the evening!

Saturday, September 23 starting at 6 PM on Spear Street, Saugatuck
Gather with friends to hang out on the hill at SDHC Lifetime member Jim Sellman’s Spear Street home and gardens. You’ll experience an evening of appetizers, beverages and camaraderie. Dinner includes butternut and pear soup, grilled marinated flank steak, and cranberry upside-down cake with a dollar of mascarpone for dessert, concluding with a South African aperitif.
If you live in or around Saugatuck, you know the phrase “up on the hill.” So come on “up” and enjoy a fun evening “on the hill!!”
