About the Event
Cost: $350
An extraordinary Italian culinary experience is coming to Saugatuck on Tuesday, November 3, when the Saugatuck-Douglas History Center hosts an exclusive fundraising dinner featuring Chef Luigi Gandola, traveling from Bellagio, Italy to the Lakeshore.
The intimate evening, beginning at 5 p.m. at Lulu Cadieux, 249 Mason Street in Saugatuck, will bring the spirit and artistry of Italian cuisine to West Michigan. Guests will enjoy a thoughtfully crafted, multi-course dinner prepared before their eyes by Chef Gandola, whose culinary career has earned him recognition for his energy, talent, and dedication to his craft.
More than a succession of courses, Chef Gandola will invite guests into the culinary process through his engaging demonstration style. As he prepares the dinner, guests will have an opportunity to observe his techniques, participate in the experience, and gain a closer appreciation for the creativity and care behind each dish.
Each course will be paired with wines selected by Sommelier Mindy Trafman, whose thoughtful selections will complement the menu and enhance the flavors of the evening.
An Evening That Supports Local History
Beyond the dining experience, the event directly supports the work of the Saugatuck-Douglas History Center. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Lulu Cadieux, Annie and Rick Hayes, and Marian Nunn, 100% of the revenue from the event will come to the History Center.
Tickets are $350 per person and space is limited.
With its intimate format, interactive culinary presentation, and carefully selected wine pairings, the evening offers guests a special opportunity to enjoy the talents of an award-winning chef from Italy while supporting the preservation of Lakeshore history.
