Two copies of "Points of Interest on the Kalamazoo River" as jotted down by Robert Dyer that include Chaffee Landing, Higgenbotham Bend, Hardscrabble, Huggins Bridge, Bushong stretch, Charles Hills Tavern, Sirrine's landing, Ox Now, Calkins Bayou and Bridge, Swan Creek (large saw mill) and bayou, Bear Creek Landing and dock, Rabbit River, Moore's landing roll way, Dayley's Bayou, High Banks roll way, Griswold's landing (big saw mill), Lowen's Landing ("where Wolf skin had two acres of land under cultivation), Squaw Skin ("that had 2 or 3 Indian families"), Hammond's landing, Big Dayley's Bayou, New Richmond's Lameraux family and draw bridge, Red Banks roll way, Rody's pier, Mack's landing, St. Pier Point, Douglas, Saugatuck, Moore's Landing ("that had a saw mill") and Singapore. One copy has notations and date of 1973 but the list refers to popular landings during the Singapore era.

1973 letter from John C. Paul, Allegan Co. Historical Society director to Robert Wolbrink about landings information that mentions Mr. Dyer "an old logger who had a vocabulary that would shock a mule-skinner."
