John Van Vulpen property letters, 1912
Letter
Two letters to John Van Vulpen of Douglas, Michigan from C. De Keyzer, a notary public in Holland.
Letter A and envelope dated 15 Oct. 1912, typewritten, about selling 18 acres of land on Graafschap Road.
Letter B with envelope dated 21 Oct. 1912, farm property contract and 8.5x3.5" gift booklet with note "John, with best wishes from Bessie(?) & Wright." The handwritten letter seeks to convince Mr. Van Vulpen that "if you were running [a] real estate office and had to pay all of the expenses connected with running of such an office, you would charge more or else quit. For our expense is very heavy and we have to make a living ..."
