The photos in the album show children and three teachers at the Douglas Union School between September 1955 to June 1956. The album is marked as being the property of Jerri Muehlenbeck of Fennville, Michigan.
A notation on the inside back cover of the album lists the 8th grade of 1955-56 as Jerri Muehlenbeck, Barb Phillips, Tyrone Hackney, Jerry Norman, Robert Green and Edward McKellips.
Classes for 6th-8th grades were held in the 2nd floor east room in the school building.
